A NOTE ABOUT SOLD-OUT ITEMS: REMEMBER THAT SOME ITEMS MAY STILL BE AVAILABLE IN THE REGULAR RETAIL WEBSTORE WHEN THEY ARRIVE INTO STOCK!
Our pre-order process is pretty simple. You browse through the stylegroup pages in the pre-order section, and click on an item to see the details for that item. From there, you select your color, size, and quantity, then add the item to your pre-order cart, just like you would in the rest of our website. Your pre-order is then stored in our system until the new styles are available. It's a bit like placing a reservation to buy that style.
Because it is not a complete sale until your styles are ready to ship, we do not charge you until your style(s) are in our warehouse and ready to be sent to you. Your pre-order information is simply stored in our system until we receive the new styles. We do validate your credit card to make sure it is a valid card, and this validation process places a $1.00 pending charge on the card, which is later released, and is not actually charged. Once the styles you pre-ordered arrive, we then process your order, charge your credit card, and ship your brand-spankin' new Lip Service styles into your hot little hands!
Style information for Presale items include an estimated delivery date. Please note that the estimated delivery date is a general time-frame estimate of completion of production, not an actual ship date. Delays can occur which may effect the availability date; though we try to keep information as accurate as possible, styles may actually arrive later than initially expected. As presales are new styles and colors, please also allow for some additional time after the delivery date for our check-in process, which confirms that all new arriving styles are ready to ship.
Pre-orders are processed on a first-come, first-sold basis. We can't guarantee we will be able to fulfill every pre-order we receive. If we receive more order reservations than pieces produced, the first customers to place their orders for a particular color/size will receive their orders. We will do our best to keep the pre-order section updated so if something is no longer available to order, we will note it next to the style. We will also do our best to notify you immediately if the items(s) you pre-ordered have been sold out so that you have a chance to select a different size/color still available to order.
When you place your presale order, you will prompted to choose whether you would like to receive your new styles as they arrive (partial shipments) or as one complete order. This is because some seasons' styles may arrive as much as several months apart. If you want your clothes to ship as they arrive, and we can completely understand why you'd want them as quickly as possible, please read below section on Partial Shipments!*
Please do not request styles which you are not serious about buying. All pre-order reservations will become sales automatically once the styles are received in our warehouse and the credit card you provided charged. Cancellations must be made via email to customer service and will be confirmed as quickly as possible. If you want to check on the status of your pre-order reservation, please contact us.

Partial Shipment Orders are handled a little bit differently, so please read this section before you choose this option.
First, you will not receive one order confirmation, but instead a separate one for each STYLEGROUP you order from, whether you order one or 10 items per group. We do this because items in stylegroups tend to be ready to ship at the same time. This also gives you a better idea of which items are likely to be shipping together and a better estimation of costs (including shipping each time).
These separate stylegroup confirmations will each have its own unique Order # and will include an estimated delivery date to our warehouse and the total cost, including estimated shipping. The shipping is just an estimate. If more than one stylegroup arrives at (or close to) the same time, we will totally combine shipping to save you money! Or, if one item arrives before the others in any particular group, we’ll ship that out alone or add it to other items that have come in from other groups. Again, it varies, but we think that breaking Preorders into stylegroups is a better alternative than listing all items together and inaccurately giving you a total based on shipping the whole order at once. These new totals are closer to actual costs.
A WORD ABOUT PARTIAL SHIPMENTS AND FREE SHIPPING
Because you are choosing to ship items separately, as they arrive, this could exclude you from receiving Free Shipping,
