The Making of a Zombie Pin-up!

Tuesday, October 27th, 2009 by Mich Masoch

Rachel1Okay, I will have to plead guilty to being an unabashed fan of the darkly tinged art our resident gore whore, Nos, and her photographic collaborator, Wicked Illusions create with staggering frequence. So much so that, when given the chance to play in their sandbox, both I and the WebMaster jumped in with both feet. Our friend, writer R.H. Stavis, checked out the gory goodness on My Zombie Pin-Up and wanted to submit some photos for their calendar contest.

side note: Make sure to vote for Rachel’s submissions at My Zombie Pin-up and help get a fellow Lippy Addict into their next calendar!

Of course, that meant we only had a week to prepare. And we’ve never shot anything even close to this complicated. And we don’t exactly have a mess of cash burning a hole in our pockets.

Yet, we said, “Fuck it! Let’s do this thing!”

Arts n Crafts! See full size in gallery below

Arts n Crafts! See full size in gallery below

Undaunted and filled with giddy anticipation, we forged ahead with the killer cool concept Rachel brought to the table. She wanted to bring to life a character from a short story who awakens from plastic surgery to find she now has a killer rack in the wrong sort of way. This is the story of how to pull off a zombie pin-up photo shoot with no time and virtually no budget.

The first step, after deciding on a concept, was to determine how in the hell we were going to pull it off without resorting to heroic levels of photoshopping. Now, it seemed, all those lame grade-school art projects would not have been in vain. Rather than try to build out something the day of the shoot with liquid latex, I dragged out an old LA Weekly and a flour/water mixture to go with paper mache. This was not only great for saving prep time, but would give us a prop which could be used again if needed for a reshoot.

So, step one: Get some flexible wire and build out frames to use as the base of the paper mache piece.

Of course, all those old craft projects being WAY in my past, I kind of forgot how fucking insanely long paper mache takes to dry. Even after an initial blast with the blow dryer and sitting in an airy space all night, our critical FX pieces were downright gunky and awful. SHIT!

Helpful Tip: If you have FX pieces with extended drying times, try to make them as far ahead of the shooting day as possible (unlike big dumb-ass me).

Fortunately, the WebMaster is as clever as he is yummy. Using a couple of spare fans, he created a drying rig that had our paper mache completely set up and ready for painting in just a few hours.

Step two: Apply paint/latex/etc to FX props.

The paper mache concept appeared really late in the game, much later than the WebMaster’s trip to the lovely Hollywood Blvd costume/make-up store. So, we improvised. I had a mess of light and white colors of nail polish for French manicure, so used that to cover the newsprint and provide a deathly pallor for our killer rack.

Fabulously gothy black polish gave us a nice gaping mouth, and several reds provided the blood-covered lips.

Now it was actually time to start the real shooting prep.

Step three: Get your lighting set up.

Once again, the WebMaster was there with some MacGyver quality resourcefulness. Using a large job site light rig we got years ago from that home center place, we had the overall brightness we needed in the room, but not the effect we wanted. So, my clever husband pulled the stand out from under his keyboard, set it on its side, and used it as a base for clip-on spot lights.

Step four: Prep your model

We had it pretty easy, really, to get Rachel ready for her zombie pin-up photos. Outside of makeup and hair, which called for nothing too extensive (just pin-up with a touch of gothy goodness), we just needed to get the killer zombie boobs in place. With some strategic tearing of her shift and a bit of spirit gum adhesive, we were in business. All that remained was adding some blood … lots and lots of blood (and, added bonus, zesty mint blood … Mmmmm!).

Helpful Tip: If you are using a spatula, spoon or (in our case) chopstick to fling blood in a spatter pattern, do it on a covered or non-porous surface and away from anything you don’t want to permanently look like it came from a crime scene.

Fake/stage blood is awsome shit but it does have its funky drawbacks. It is sticky as hell and will quite possibly stain porous things. It will also tend to get everywhere if you’re not careful. We didn’t put down cover on the floor and are still finding little bitty bits of sticky on the wood floor quite apart from where I was flinging it.

Step five: Shoot some kick-ass photos!

One thing we’ve learned in our dabblings into photo and video shoots, the best time to think about the shot you want is NOT when the model is ready and waiting.

Helpful tip: Know what you want and make a plan on executing your shoot ahead of time.

The model will most likely also have some great ideas, but always know the shots/poses you want before you start shooting. If you’ve not done a particular style before (as we hadn’t done a pin-up of any style), look around and see what body positions, facial expressions, and angles you think will work for your model and shoot. If need be, be ready to show that to them, too.

Okay, that’s the extent of the shooting. But if you’re like us, you’re certainly not done yet!

Step six: The post!

There will generally always be some little tweaks and retouching to a photo, whether it be tinkering with lighting effects, adjusting the levels, blowing out or blowing up the color, you name it. But, with a zombie pin-up, that’s just the beginning of all the wonderful things you can do to enhance your shot.

In this case, I really wanted to keep Rachel’s natural beauty intact, so didn’t play with filtering and the like. Instead, I used my photoshop time to add some nasty teeth and a darting togue to make the killer zombie boobs look truly lethal. Then I added a soft lighting effect to create the look of a floodlight spotting our zombie heroine.

Well, that’s it, really. Our very first zombie pin-up shoot. With a little creative MacGyver-ing, it’s really not as daunting as it seems to get something pretty solidly cool. We won’t be meeting the level of Nos and Wicked Illusions, but we had so much fun it really didn’t matter in the end. We have a cool set of photos and Rachel will have some deadly submissions for the My Zombie Pin-up contest.

To put an end to the FULL story, we were so jazzed after our zombie pin-up shoot, we set up a gore shoot (starring ME) immediately afterward. Perhaps I’ll share those with you another time.

Until the next time …

Countdown to Halloween Birthday Weekend Begins!

Hey party people! Well, I survived the Alice Cooper show and The Pismo Moto session with the boys and I’m now suffering through the week, counting the hours until my birthday party weekend begins!

The Alice Cooper show was packed and my band Jetboy took the stage at 8 o’clock and completely destroyed it, delivering one of our best sets to date! Great sound and lighting with a huge stage, and we were treated great by Alice and his crew. Alice put on a great show and at 61-yrs old showed no signs of slowing down or mellowing out! This tour features many old classics such as opening song, “Schools Out,” “18,” “Only Women Bleed,” “Welcome to My Nightmare” and many others. And Alice is killed three times during the show – (guillotine, hanging and lethal injection…)! He took the time to hang out with us at the end of the night to chat and told us he enjoyed our set. We got some fun pictures with him and he also signed my original “Welcome To My Nightmare” LP.

I was back to work on Friday still reeling with excitement from the mid-week party, with piles of work to catch up on. After a long day it was straight home to rest up for Saturday’s excursion up to the Pismo Beach sand dunes for some pure adrenaline riding! There were six of us from the Lip Service crew and on our 250 and 400 cc Quads, we spent four hours blazing through the dunes.

We blasted over every sick jump we could find and organized some race courses to compete against each other for the sheer rush! Only one of us got hurt (not too bad), and I crashed one time leaving my quads steering bent, although I roosted it for the rest of the day anyway! Great day and great bonding experience for a group of us that have worked very hard to develop the new “Service” menswear line in a matter of weeks, in order to make the deadline for Spring delivery. We all got to know each other a little better and just enjoyed the “Dude” thing! Pismo is a beautiful place and makes for a fun exciting day. I highly recommend checking it out!

Well I’m off now to get ready for a photo shoot with my brand new Psychobilly band, “Cold Blue Rebels,” featuring members from the Zeros and Glamour Punks. Formed only 2 months ago, we will soon be ready to start booking shows, but more on that next week!

Until then -  keep it sleazy, work hard, play harder and remember…Fashion+Music=Life!

Spain and Beyond!

Dear Readers,

Sorry for the late blog. My memory has been pretty cloudy lately. Since I last wrote, I’ve done 16 shows and a lot of other things…

Spain was an absolute blast. Those kids really know how to rage. In Paris, things got nuts. We celebrated Aaron’s birthday with a booze cruise around the city. I’m still amazed that nobody fell overboard. We drank as much Rebel Yell as there is water in that river.

Germany reunited us with our dear friend Texas Terri. We also got to hang with Campino from Die Toten Hosen, which was pretty bitchin as well!

Scandinavia is fucking gorgeous. In Sweden we ended up hanging with our buddies, Eagles of Death Metal, on our night off. After that we were drinking homemade moonshine in somebody’s basement. When we woke up, we barely made it to our interview with Rocket Radio, “The Rock Home of Stockholm.”

So, Amsterdam…yeah. Well, we had a great time. Somehow amidst all the debauchery, I still had time to feed the ducks.

We just finished up some crazy shows in Ireland and Scotland. They are some of the most genuine fun-loving people I have ever met. Right now I’m sitting backstage in what’s said to be the best entertainment venue on planet earth, the O2 Arena. This one’s for Michael!

The Perception of Horror

Halloween is almost a week away and I’m sure many of you share the same love for this holiday as I do.  If you ask me, it’s the perfect holiday. Sure I love the little perks like buying a new bat covered table cloth or having the best excuse to buy a costume! But, the BEST part about Halloween is that it’s a day just for you. You don’t have to go to someone’s house and eat an awkward dinner or spend money on other people. You’re supposed to dress up and indulge in yourself! It’s also a time that my favorite film genre really shines. Well, at least it used to be anyway….

This fall Hollywood seems to have “dropped the ball” once again.  Instead of opening highly anticipated  movies like  TRICK R TREAT,  NIGHT OF THE DEMONS and NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET around Halloween, they’ve bumped those projects straight to DVD or opted for an April release, ’cause who wants to see scary movies around Halloween?

Some critics are saying that the reason NIGHT OF THE DEMONS got pushed to April is that it’s a terrible film and would do poorly. Now I’ll have to admit that as a HUGE fan of the original, the remake looks pretty silly from the trailers. However, the producer in me is screaming, “Halloween is the ONLY time this film would make money!”

This was the most painful shoot of my life ... click to view full size

This was the most painful shoot of my life ... click to view full size

And you know what’s gonna happen…. April will roll around and the movie will flop. Perfect. Everyone who was involved in the film and was counting on it to show some type of success will be back to the drawing board.

It’s hard to imagine that after decades of turning a profit, studios still doubt horror films. They seem to have this perception that horror is all campy and outdated, that nobody really wants to pay to see these films.

Fucking stupid.

I doubt it’s gonna change anytime soon. All we can do as fans is continue to prove the naysayers wrong.  We have to support the filmmakers and actors we love … no matter what time of year or what format their films come out in.  Someday studios will tire of/be unable to sink millions of dollars into stupid Sandra Bullock movies and horror directors won’t have to scrap for every penny. Someday.

Enjoy Halloween Lippy fans! Rent your favorite scary movie this week!

*heart*

Week 2 in the Mickey chronicles finds me racing to finish work at
the Lip Service headquarters today. I am due in San Francisco tomorrow for a gig with
my band JETBOY, who are opening for Alice Cooper at the famous Warfield
Theater!!!

As Halloween is my Birthday, October is always a fun month and
this year is holding true to that!! We just finished a meeting with the
think tank of guys involved in the new Menswear line, “SERVICE,” and discussed
the next round of graphic design ideas. The whole bunch of us are going with
the owner of Lip Service up to Pismo this weekend to ride quad ATV’s out in the sand
dunes! So, next week I should have some fun pictures of us blazing and shots
of Jetboy live plus me with Alice Cooper!!! (I hope).

The warehouse sale this weekend was fun as always and DJ XIAN did a great job of stimulating people to spend $$. Tons of cool freaks came thru and good vibes were had
by all!

I’ll end the month with my birthday celebration where me and my crew
will pile into my girlfriends Hearse dressed in the theme of Zombie
Apocalypse Road Warriors and head out to the Rob Zombie/ Nekromantix concert
at the Palladium!!!

I love my life! And you should, too! Don’t talk about it, manifest it!! I want it all, and I want it now, and then I want some more!!! Fashion+Music+Life!!!! Lip Service Rules!!

Bloody … Funky … Spooky … Cyber … HOT!

Wednesday, October 14th, 2009 by Mich Masoch

Okay, I know. Halloween can be all about slinking into that naughty, sexy costume with the hemline, neckline, revealing cut-outs, or whatever that you wouldn’t normally wear. It’s like trying on a new you for a few hours and letting yourself do and say something outrageous … “No, it was the naughty nurse who said that … *giggle* … *wink* …”

Nos by Wicked Illusions in Bizarre Magazine - click for full size

Nos by Wicked Illusions in Bizarre Magazine - click for full size

But for some of us, kicks are a bit further out there on the shock and awe scale. A bit of vinyl is fun, but add a few gallons of faux blood, maybe some hanging intestines, facial decay … epic win! Yeah, I’m talking about one of the hotter trends in the alternative modeling world, zombie and gore pin-ups. And, I must say, I’m damn happy and proud to have one of the brighest lights in that edgy edge of things right here as part of our disturbed, little ‘zine group.

You get to read the musings of our favorite gore whore, Nos, every other week here in the ‘zine in The Devil Inside. But you may not have seen her in all her fabulous, slinky, sexy, gory glory. Here is a cool shot published in Bizarre by also fab photographers (and killer artists) Wicked Illusions (who were responsible for the über-hot werewolf Nos pics in last week’s feature). We’ve also got a great Wicked Illusions pic of Pandora Genocide in our gallery below. If you want to see some kick-ass dark photos, click through to their MySpace albums. You’ll not be disappointed.

WickedIllusionsLink

Nos has also shot with the always-awesome Chad Michael Ward, whose photographic art makes a Marilyn Manson video feel like a trip through It’s a Small World. But there is an ethereal beauty in the dark images, something creeping in and tugging at the hanging bits of your soul … compelling you to delve further. We wanted to give you a small sampling (and none with the naked ladies because … well … you can click through and see ‘em yourself), but you REALLY want to go to his site and check out his complete collection of creepily erotic imagery.

If dark-tinged gore is perhaps not your thing, maybe some nice, wholesome pin-ups are more like it? Or some ZOMBIES! Or maybe some ZOMBIE FUCKING PIN-UPS! Yea baby! Leading the braaaaaaains contingent is My Zombie Pin-up, with a killer calendar of undead cheesecake. WOOT! Or, if you want to check out a dazzling array of zombie sexy, take a little trip over to Zombie Pin-ups and get all the rotted eye candy you can ever hope to see all in one place. Or perhaps you might like Ghoul Girls … There’s no limit to the yummy braaaaaaaaaaaain-chomping beauties out there!

Or, if smooth, sensual zombie sexy with a hypnitically ethereal soundtrack is more your thing, check out this killer video by photographer (and webcam diva) JJ Bonde.

Okay, so maybe blood and hangy guts (or braaaaaaaains *hee hee*) are not your bag … how’s about some ROBOT BABES!!

For my money, the leader of the robot pin-up pack has got to be Jeffery Scott of Factory 1019. Not only are his beauties mesmerising, in his digital artist perfection, he creates the world around the characters he creates. Sure, images of women spliced with machinery can be a little disturbing, but when they’re this dead-on sexy, we can live with it!
Factory1019Link If Factory 1019 doesn’t sate your hunger for robot babes, never fear … there’s MORE! You can check out some hot robots, as well as some wicked fantasy digital art in Michael O’s gallery. Or you can take a peek at the sexy future as envisioned by Benedict Campbell. Or perhaps human dolls is your thing? You can get your Barbie-lovin’ engine running with some cool digital art by Alex Sandwell Kliszynski.

And … OH YEAH! There are aliens too! If you want to create your own funky Pinups from Outer Space, I’ve got just the tool for you! Pin-Ups From Outer Space (hard to forget that, eh?)

Or … if you happen to make your way to Osaka, maybe you’d like to live out the alien abduction of your naughty dreams at the Hotel Loire. *heh* Happy probing!

Well, that’s lots of food for naughty thought of how to spice up your Halloween in some rather funky ways. Until then …

Exit Ritual

Exit Ritual

Kunoichi.

One part tactical genius. One part mistress of disguise. Portrayed as a nearly invulnerable killing machine in poorly dubbed camp flicks, conveniently located in the Asian imports section of your local video store. Oh, and then there are the porn spoofs.

Not like they’re entirely inaccurate

I’ve had to take out many a mob boss by posing as the common whore. Detachment is key. Removing the obstacles that lie in the path of my family’s prosperity has always been the primary objective. The end perpetually justifies the means, and my body is an instrument of espionage and war. Yes, espionage. Along with sabotage and assassination, they were the holy trinity of women like me. Rumored descendants of the Black Dragon Fighting Society, protecting what’s ours ran deep in our blood. Adhering to a strict honor code has been an integral part of who I am since birth.

I feel no remorse for the lives I have taken, as the stinging taste of sorrow was only known to my kind upon failure to carry out our orders. Dressed as a geisha, I made fountains of crimson spray forth from arteries I slashed open using knives carefully stashed in my cherry red kimono sleeves which I’ve managed to keep hidden from view.  Well versed in the fine art of the fan dance and traditional tea ceremony, I was the quintessential cultured woman. Truly a gifted entertainer, I have danced for, conversed with and shared the bed of the elite. I also enjoyed the reputation for being highly esteemed in my ruthless efficiency and my tea making skills alike. Rightfully so, as the tea I brewed was quite often the last cup my “clients” would ever drink.

Yet, there’s one flame I will not snuff, one whose blood I cannot spill. As irony would have it, my traitor heart beats for my clan’s sworn enemy. I have come to know his flesh so well; I could pull a poison dressed needle from my hair with relative ease and see this mission to completion. No need for seduction gimmicks and false pillow talk as I had gained his trust some time ago. Disobedience has never been a part of my vocabulary. I have never been the one to question my destiny… Until now.

An honorable death is more desirable than a life in shame.

Divided between love and family, I choose to betray neither. Alas, seppuku is so feudal Japan. Not to mention messy.

I sit on the shores of the river where I once sat with the one I love. The tides here are strongest at dusk. When the Sun has completely set beneath the horizon, the waters will carry me away.

And with this last fan dance, I take my final bow.

This is my exit ritual.

The clothing worn by the kunoichi depended on the situation at hand. Planning to entertain your frienemies at a cyanide lace tea ceremony? Trying to literally charm the pants off the boyfriend of a girl you can’t stand? A fetish geisha inspired look will keep you pretty as you secretly plot their demise.

Hair-a-kiri

To prevent looking like you just raided the craft aisle of Walmart select mixed media hair pieces where synthetic dreads are used as a base. Foam and tubular crin are best used as accents. Much like the addition of spice to food, a little goes a long way. Otherwise the end result tends to be slightly overwhelming.

-  Gather your hair into a high ponytail on top of your head. This is imperative. Nothing is sadder than a limp hair fall just chillin’ near the base of your skull, because you confused  the “tie my hair back before I go to the gym” ponytail with “I need to support a pound of plastic shit on top of my head” ponytail.

- Twist hair into a bun(think Princess Leia).

-  Pin the shit out of the above mentioned bun with bobby pins. When you think you’ve pinned it enough, add 10 more pins.

-   Lean forward.

-   Grab the fall by the lace that is attached to its base and proceed to wrap said lace around the bottom of the bun.

-  Pin it down some more.

-  Throw your head back.

-  Add more pins for good measure.

- Grab a loose dread and wrap around the base of the now fall covered bun in order to hide the tell tale pins.

- Sneak in a few more covert pins to secure the dread you just wrapped around the whole contraption.

Red epitomizes love, blood and passion. Black is most commonly associated with death, secrecy and darkness. Indulge your brooding love breeds suicide-has-been-on-constant-rotation-in-my-car-since-2001 side by deckin’ out your lids in the official color combination of doomed love affairs everywhere.

General Prep Work

You will need:

Moisturizer ,Primer, Concealer, Liquid Foundation, Foundation Brush, Translucent Powder, Powder brush, Eyeshadow primer

Wash your face with a cleanser formulated especially for your skin type. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry with a soft cloth. Prep your skin with moisturizer before applying concealer in order to ensure a smoother, flake free application.  Before proceeding any further allow your skin to properly absorb the moisturizer. This should take about 10 minutes. Since foundation worn alone often has a nasty habit of settling in the fine lines around your mouth, near your eyes and on your forehead, I highly recommend using a primer after you’ve moisturized your face. Utilizing a small amount of primer helps to fill in unflattering expression lines, pores and scars, thus allowing foundation to actually do its job! Nix blemishes and skin discoloration by gently patting concealer over the trouble area. Follow by blending with your ring finger.

Apply a liquid foundation that best matches your skin tone to your face and neck with a foundation brush (A full dome shaped brush works beautifully). Start by applying small dots in the center of your face and then moving outward]. Set everything in place by finishing off with a thin coat of translucent powder.  Use a full, round shaped powder brush for optimal results.

Prep your lids with eyeshadow primer, whose job is to neutralize the colour of your lids which in turn makes for brighter more vibrant shadow. It also prevents said shadow from creasing.

Eyes:

You will need:

Eyeshadow Primer ,Eyeliner that matches your hair color if you draw your eyebrows in, Makeup sealer (optional), Black eyeliner, Ruby red pigment, Gold pearl infused black pigment, Light pink with red duochrome pigment, Frosty off white pressed eyeshadow, Eyeshadow brush with a round/tapered edge, Blending brush, Fluffy eyeshadow brush, Eyelash curler, Black Mascara

Step 1

Prep your brows by filling them in with a pencil and softening the lines with a small brush or drawing them in if you don’t have them. Eyebrowless ladies like myself should make sure to use a pencil that matches their hair color.  After you’re satisfied with the shape of your brows, feel free to seal them with a single coat of a makeup sealer.  Last but not least, lightly coat your entire eyelid area with an eyeshadow primer,  to build a smooth base for your shadows, pigments and liners.

Step 2

Pining for precision?

Apply clear adhesive tape starting at the outer corner of your eye and extend to the end of your eyebrow. Press down gently with your finger to smooth it out.  This little trick gives your eyeshadow an extremely pronounced hard edge, which creates a clean and defined shape.

Let’s paint those eyelids a cardiac arrest inducing shade of red now! Take an eyeshadow brush with a round/tapered edge  and wet it a little. Dip your dampened brush into the ruby red pigment  and gently tap, DO NOT SWIPE, the pigment across your entire eyelid from lashline to crease.  Don’t worry if you get excess pigment on the tape. Once you’re done with your eye makeup and peel the sticky stuff off, I assure you that any messes you might have made will magically disappear.

Step 3

Using a blending brush  add some gold pearl infused black pigment  to the outer crease of your eye and bring it down to your lashline on the outer corner of your eyelid. This is also known as the “outer V”. Blend into the ruby red pigment from Step #2. If you shave and draw your brows on you can extend the pigment past your crease and onto the lower part of your browbone, since you obviously have more room to work with.  Once again, ignore any fallout that might have ended up on the area you previously taped off.

Step 4

Starting at the inner corner of your eye, using a small fluffy eyeshadow brush tap some light pink pigment outward toward the “V” of gold infused black you applied in Step 3. Blend into the ruby red pigment you added in Step #2. Eyebrowless girls and boys have the option to extend the pigment past the crease and onto the lower part of their browbone the same way they did in Step 3.

At this point, the outer part of your crease (and parts of your browbone if you’re brow-less) should be a metallic black shade, while the inner part should be a slightly reddish pink. Blend both shades into each other at their meeting point which should lie somewhere at the halfway point in the crease of your eye.

Step 5

Clean the fluffy eyeshadow brush you used in the previous step. Sweep some frosty off white shadow  directly under your eyebrows[doesn’t matter if they’re drawn on or natural]. Blend the frosty off white eyeshadow into the two colors that you’ve blended into your crease in Step 4, the metallic black and the reddish pink.

Line your bottom lid starting from the outer corner of your eye, slowly making your way toward the inner corner with your favorite brand of black kohl eyeliner. Most of the color should be concentrated in the outer corner. I find that it’s easiest to put on eyeliner after eyeshadow and before mascara. Curl your eyelashes with an eyelash curler and top off with 2 coats of black mascara.

Now would be a good time to remove the tape and admire your eyeshadow blending skills!

Cheeks:

You will need:

Blush brush ,Peachy pink blush, Bronzer

And now for some cheekbone definition! Swipe some pressed bronzer  onto your blush brush . Starting mid-cheek, going towards your ear apply the bronzer into the hollows of your cheeks using short, up-and-down vertical strokes. Darker shades will give the illusion of the hollows of your cheeks receding. Now using the same technique add a peachy pink blush to the apples of your cheeks, which will cause them to protrude. Use translucent powder to blend between the two colors in order to avoid obvious lines.  Stripes are for zebras, not for your face.

Lips:

You will need:

Flesh toned lip liner,  Shimmering peachy beige lipgloss

Step 1

Filling in your entire lip area prevents your lip color from fading, blurring and feathering throughout the course of the day/evening/night. Use a flesh toned lip liner  to fill in your lips starting at the center of your natural lip line and moving toward the outer corners.

Step 2

Ultra glossy near nude lipgloss with a slightly peachy beige tint  is truly a perfect finish for your show stopping red, black and white lids! Beginning in the center of your upper lip, gently press the gloss wand into the flesh of your lip and then proceed to roll it over the entire top lip area, working toward the edges. Repeat the process on your bottom lip. Remember kids: Lipstick stained teeth are the polar opposite of sexy. To ensure that your gloss sticks to your mouth and not your teeth put your index finger in your mouth, then proceed to slide it out slowly with your mouth still closed. This will remove any excess lip color.

Who knew that suicide could be so stylish?

part tactical genius. One part mistress of disguise. Portrayed as a nearly invulnerable killing machine in poorly dubbed camp flicks, conveniently located in the Asian imports section of your local video store. Oh, and then there are the porn spoofs.
It’s not like they’re entirely inaccurate.
